The TRENO Community enjoyed a wonderful day this past Saturday browsing a unique selection of items

The Tahquitz River Estates Neighborhood Organization (TRENO) garage sale held this past weekend was a resounding success, drawing in a large crowd of attendees eager to find treasures and bargains. The event featured an array of items from various households, ranging from furniture and electronics to clothing and collectibles, ensuring there was something for everyone. With enthusiastic participation from residents and visitors alike, the atmosphere was bustling and lively throughout the day, fostering a sense of community spirit and camaraderie among all who attended.

Some additional friends decided to join the Treno tag Sale this past Saturday.

Welcome to Tahquitz River Estates Neighborhood, Truly The most diverse in all of Palm Springs!

The neighborhood sits on both sides of the Tahquitz "wash" just south of central Palm Springs. It was not always called Tahquitz River Estates. In the early 1930's, the first development was called Palos Verdes Estates and is still populated with charming "Old Palm Springs" Spanish revival homes. Some of these bungalows were under construction even before Palm Springs became incorporated back in 1938!
