What a day! The TRENO Annual Meeting was very well attended with over 100 neighbors and many local officials speaking, including special guest PSPD Chief Andy Mills. Thanks to Ed and Larry who opened their stunning home for the event and was also on the TRENO Modernism Tour in 2023! Also, a shout-out to local ice-cream shop KREEM for providing a cool sweet treat. Great job TRENO board!
Welcome to Tahquitz River Estates Neighborhood, Truly The most diverse in all of Palm Springs!
The neighborhood sits on both sides of the Tahquitz "wash" just south of central Palm Springs. It was not always called Tahquitz River Estates. In the early 1930's, the first development was called Palos Verdes Estates and is still populated with charming "Old Palm Springs" Spanish revival homes. Some of these bungalows were under construction even before Palm Springs became incorporated back in 1938!
